Information for Finnish visitors
The WorldSkills event is open to spectators interested in vocational skills competitions. This page compiles useful information for Finnish spectators. The page will be updated as more information becomes available.
WorldSkills Shanghai 2026
The WorldSkills Competition, the world championship of vocational skills, will be held in Shanghai, China, from 22 to 27 September 2026. The event will take place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai.
Finland's national skills team includes 18 competitors who will compete in 18 different skill competitions.

Instructions for the Finnish visitors
The public are able to watch the progress of the competition close-up, which makes the event interesting for visitors and exciting for the competitors. Please remember, however, that it is forbidden to talk to the competitors or otherwise disrupt them during their performance. Spectators are also asked to avoid speaking in the competitor's native language in the immediate vicinity of the performance area.
As the venue is quite large, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and taking some snacks and a water bottle with you. It is recommendable for the supporters of each country to be seen and heard! It's a good idea to bring along flags, banners or other Finland / fan merchandise.
Support clothing
Finnish visitors can order official support clothing for Team Finland. For the EuroSkills visitors there are supporter hoodie, t-shirt, or supporter scarf available for order. Orders are accepted until August 1st.
Media Accreditation
Members of the media attending the event, including communications staff from educational institutions, are requested to register using the link below. Based on the current information available, other visitors do not need to register in advance.

WorldSkills Conference 2026
Registration for WorldSkills Conference 2026, taking place from 23 to 25 September, is open until 5 July. The conference is a leading international forum for dialogue and collaboration on future skills and workforce development.
Events Organized by Skills Finland
During the competition week, Skills Finland will organize two events. The number of places is limited, and participation will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
