Application for organizing the Taitaja2025 semifinals

Additional Reinforcements at Skills Finland
Juho Viitanen started earlier this year as a part-time Special Needs Advisor. Samuil Uzunov will be completing his civilian service at Skills Finland for this year. Sari Mäenpää will continue in her role as the Competition Manager.

Finland selected to host the International Abilympics 2027 competition
The International Abilympics competition for people with special needs will be held at Messukeskus, Helsinki in May 2027. The unique major event will be organised concurrently with the Taitaja2027 event.

Finland among top three in six skills categories in EuroSkills competition
The Finnish team won an amazing number of medals in EuroSkills Gdańsk 2023 competition that ended today: one gold, three silvers and two bronzes. The team also received awards for higher-than-average score in nine skills categories.

National Skills Competition Taitaja2023 in Espoo 8-11 May 2023
The National Skills Competition Taitaja will take place in the Tapiola Sports Park in Espoo this May. The event is open to everyone and free of charge. We invite everyone interested in vocational education and training to come and explore the competition and Finnish VET education.

Historic victory for Finland at the Abilympics Competition
The international Abilympics vocational skills competition finished on Saturday with the presentation of medals at the closing ceremony. The Finnish National Team did well in the competition, earning one gold medal and four silver medals. These are the first medals that Finland has won in the Abilympics.
