International Abilympic Federation Print E-mail
The International Abilympic Federation (IAF) is a non-profit international organization whose purpose is to hold the International Abilympics. IAF has currently 56 member organization from 40 countries and regions. These members consist of different regional and international organizations devoted to rehabilitation issues and/or organizing vocational skills competitions. Skills Finland has been a member of IAF since 2005.

The organization of the IAF is triple: The Assembly consisting of a representative of each member organization decides the general policies of IAF and IA. In general, the Assembly meetings are held in connection with the Abilympics – once every four years. The Executive Committee is responsible for more detailed decision-making and setting the agenda for the Assembly meetings. Administrative tasks are performed by the Secretariat located in Japan.
